At Overflow Mobile Detailing (OMD), customer satisfaction is our priority.
Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds once a service has been completed. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. At our discretion, we may provide a complimentary rewash or touch-up of the areas in question to ensure our service meets our quality standards.
Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, you may cancel any booking or subscription purchased through our website, without reason and without penalty, within 7 days of the date of purchase — provided the service has not yet been performed. Once a wash or detail has been fully performed with your consent, section 42(2)(a) of ECTA excludes the cooling-off right for that completed service. To exercise this right, email admin@overflowmobiledetailing.com. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation via the original payment method.
You are entitled to services performed in a manner and of a quality that persons are generally entitled to expect. If a service is defective, you may, within 6 months of performance, require OMD to remedy the defect or refund a reasonable portion of the price. This right is in addition to, and does not replace, the rewash remedy above.
By booking a service with Overflow Mobile Detailing, you authorize our employees, contractors, and representatives to move, operate, park, and reposition your vehicle as reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.
You confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or that you have the authority to grant permission for the vehicle to be moved and operated.
Customers are responsible for removing all valuables and personal belongings from their vehicles before service. Overflow Mobile Detailing is not responsible for the loss of, theft of, or damage to any personal items left inside the vehicle.
Overflow Mobile Detailing will exercise reasonable care when handling your vehicle. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage, defects, scratches, dents, mechanical failures, electrical issues, or damage resulting from undisclosed vehicle defects or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under applicable South African law.
